Default Found a Drag 4Eye - 1K - worth it?

Think its an 85 - 86 not exactly sure.

Set up for drag racing. Has a roll cage in it and driver seat, 302 from an older stang. Motor looked clean but this thing has been sitting for 5 years with no carb on it, just a red shop rag. Straight headers, Had a B&M shifter in it, couldn't get under it. It is on a trailer and it comes with the deal. Looks like it has an MSD ingnition, electric fan. Battery switch mounted out back. Probably a decent fuel pump in it? I have no idea if anythign has been done to the motor, its chained in the engine bay, so if that tells you anything it was setup at one point. 5" tach and a couple of gauges. Its a hatch back, with a sun roof. Little rush here and there.

No title's - I can probably get a mechanics lean on it? Not sure if its even worth messing with.

I'll try to get some pics net time I'm out that way.

$1000? You could probably buy it and part it out for more. Let me know if you buy it!

Usually if the engine is chained in means he was trying to drive it/run it with a broken engine mount.

Like previously said... you could almost get 1000 for the trailer alone.

Yes its worth it. The trailer and parts alone are worth more. The question is why only 1k??

No titles - The guy that used to race it passed away and his wife gave the car to his friend who let it sit for 5 years. He is hard up for money - but no titles??

I guess its just a matter of time, it's going to take a lot.

Sorry for posting in the wrong thread if so ...

Old school muscle cars + cheap owners = chain instead of a new engine mount. I've heard of them using this A LOT in older (pre 70s) cars. In fact my dad actually did it once...
