What replacable parts control spark besides the coil, dis, and ecu... Just asking to know... Sorry if it seems like a dumb question just trying to learn

tfi module. its mounted to the distributor on foxes, the fender i believe on sn95

 

How do you take it out to replace it just in case

Well the backfiring issue when the motor is cold is back but hit And miss... I replaced my IAC, ECT, and ACT... I was asking about ignition stuff so I can start researching it... My fuel is good so I thought I would start with learning ignition stuff so when stuff goes wrong I'm prepared.... And it has no codes, I've cleaned the maf

backfire as in a big bang...and or flames shoot out the pipes?? or just the gurggling you hear in the exhaust as you decel??

 

It's when I put a load on the car it back fires alittle and stumbles do to it but you can drive right through it and it goes away with more throttle also I've changed the fuel filter and it only happens when the car is cold

 

THAT IS A HESITATION AND THE POP YOU MOST LIKELY are hearing is in the intake = not a backfire, backfire is out the exhaust/tailpipes.....have you run a koer test yet??

have you replaced plugs, cap, rotor and wires recently and or cleaned the maf???
