Hey boys i gotta question for ya....

What would be a good cam to upgrade to from the E303 cam? Or does he need to upgrade? It's a dd car...so nothing stupid big.

Maybe a trickflow stage 2? Would you need to upgrade lifters or anything...what would he need?

ya what other mods does it have? with out a better intake and heads a cam on a stock 5.0 is kinda useless

 

Its got GT40 heads, full exhaust, GT40 intake, 3.73 gears, and a CAI. All that w/ a E303 cam if that helps.

 

Id say a tfs 2 or a lunati grind

 

Alright thats what i was thinkin. He wants a tfs stage 3 but i told him the operating range was WAYY to high for a DD (like 3200 to 7000 i think). But what about lifters and such...

Will he need new ones?? (Im not sure on the size of the ones that are on it) But what would he need to opporate a cam that big??

TFS 2 will work fine, MEASURE PTV!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the springs need upgraded as well, and make sure you get it timed correctly.

IIRC, the 1.94 intakes on the GT40's should help with PTV as opposed to the common 2.02...

 

trickflow stage 2 and an e 303 are about the same thing dont waste the money on that and with those heads id get a comp cams 264h or 270h which in all in all the springs have to be changed run that with some 1.7's and have fun
