Both driver and passenger side seat belts on my 1987 Convertible fail to catch and need to be replaced, the driver's side was discovered when I hit my head on the steering wheel and the passenger with tests later. I have been looking for replacements for the driver and passenger side parts; E9ZZ-76611A73-A and E9ZZ-76611A72-A, respectively. Would anyone know of a place where I can find either those parts or a suitable replacement, or perhaps better yet have one they're looking to sell? While my interior is blue, I am willing to settle for any color for the belts.

I'm in the same boat as you. I've got an 86' Vert. My belts don't retract so well anymore. NO ONE sells seat belts for the 80's convertibles.. Have no idea why, I cannot locate.

 

What makes the VERT ones different from the NON? They're on eBay....

 

That's a great question. I looked at American Muscle, called CJ's, neither listed seat belts for verts.. I have no idea. I've not checked Ebay yet, but I did locate belts on LMR. I'll check Ebay out. thanks for the suggestion.

Here are some seat belts/retractors in gray.These are for 87-89,but other year models and colors are available if you search the site.It lists the applications for coupes, hatchbacks & convertibles.Theyve got belts for the rear also.Other colors,like black,blue,red,etc are available too,it just depends on the application.

I have both front belts from a '90 vert. They are titanium gray. perfect condition.
