Default Which Mustang Do I Have?

I just bought a 1994 Mustang Convertible. It is a V8 with 5.0L HO Engine. On the side it has "305" and on the back it has "SVT". It has Cobra Wheels, and a Normal Hood. On the Rear Bumper it says "Mustang GT". It is white with a tan interior and tan convertible top. It is also an automatic. When Driving there are 2 gauges near my left shoulder attached to the dash near the drivers side door. One for Transmission Temperture and another for Air Intake I beleive (Stoich, lean, and rich). It has a shift kit on it with the options of "Stock", "Stage 1", "Stage 2" and Race". I think the guages and the shift kit is not stock and was put on afterwards. My friend swears its a Cobra, but i think its just a Mustang GT Converitable that somebody tried to make it look like a cobra.

Any help would be appreciated.

Take your vin and look it up. Vin gives all the info on what the car is or was. Sounds like somebody just somewhat rebadged the car. If it is rebadged this is not looked highly upon. Post your vin I can probably tell you if it is a cobra or not.

not a real Cobra...

94/95 have a unique spoiler with the 3rd brake light in it, have a Cobra/GT40 intake manifold, and say MUSTANG on the rear bumper...

and take those 305 badges off, 305 is a POS GM engine, actually worse than a non PI 4.6...

and T code in the VIN is the regular 5.0, not the Cobra 5.0...

how? by going .025" over? are you not going to hone the cylinders after you do the finish pass with the boring machine?...

.030" = 306

.040" = 308

.060" = 312 (.060" not recommended due to probably getting into the water jackets)...

try again...
