Default Header Gaskets

I'm getting BBK shorty equal-length headers soon and I wanted to know what are the best header gaskets to go with?

Yea im going to buy the BBK headers brand new. I was just wondering because someone told me to go with copper gaskets but if what they come with will do I'll just use those. Thanks!

Some people swear by the coppers, but I couldn't get them to seal with my MAC or Hooker headers. It makes sense to use them if you can get them to seal though as they won't blow out . I just use standard Felpro, Mr. Gasket, etc. Good luck!

The 1415's are the best set of header gaskets I've used so far. Seal well and can be reused, and they're robust.

well with copper you have to get a copper spray adhesive to get them to seal worth a sh*t, there junk!

the 1415 will come with them there fine! they do have some aluminum gaskets made like the coppers for like 40$ at the parts store, autozone etc, there great but with a stock head the gasket port will swallow them!

When you put your headers on use a thread sealer with the bolts to reduce the chance of the bolts backing out like they love to do! white sealer or medium permatex thread sealer will do fine! if you have aluminum heads use only the white permatex sealer!
