Default heads.....

OKAY.... My mustang has a 331 stroker bottom end... Stock heads.. X303 cam... GT40 intake... SRP flat top pistons...

MY QUESTION IS:

If I buy GT40P heads, and port them and match them to the GT40 intake, is it gaurnteed to fit? (why wouldnt it? arent they a little bigger in every way than the stock heads?)

It would yield SOME horsepower right? I am low on money and want to do this temporarly.

Yes, it will fit. I happen to have some '94 GT40 heads for sale from the Cobra...

if you put gt40s on a 331 i will come to your house and stab you. they are horrible heads. i wouldnt put gt40s on a stock motor if you paid me.

get some afr or tf heads in the 185-190cc range. while your at it, get a new intake manifold. let me guess your using the stock tb and maf too?

like these people are saying you need to remove all your top end parts and start over. You'll probably pick up over 100hp if you do it right.
