Default AFR 185's on a 302?

I have a chance to get a deal and a half on 500 mile old afr 185's with 1.6 rockers. My question is would these work well with a B-cam (or other recomendation??) and my setup? Right now I have the gt40 intake, 70mm TB, 255 walbro, 42lb/hr injectors, Megasquirt (stand alone programmable ecu), and exhaust. Because I have megasquirt, i usually run the car on e-85, which is 105 octane, so i should have no problem upping the compression. I have heard that the 185 arent good down low and to get the 165's. What do you guys think??

Thanks!

afr 185's not good down low?? if that's the case, it is a result of what sits on top of them
