So I need to do some welding on my seats since the bracket buisted loose from the floor. But also, the reclining part in the back of the seats(facing the hatch), has a broken adjuster( I guess it is called) and it makes my Stang lean back too much when i am driving. It is very uncomfortable and very dangerous.

My questions is...

1. Should I try and even weld the actual reclining part?
2. Are the seats in Mustangs universal or do the brackets need to be changed out? The reason I am asking is because I found a ton of 94-98 seats for cheap and also a few others from alternate years.

Any ideas or suggestions?

im not sure if all the seats are interchangeable but ive seen people do the swap all the time. cant be that hard. i say if you can get new seats cheap, go for it. any custom work needed to make them work would be well worth it

That's true. I am sure any customization is possible.
