What size micky's?
Once my current set is worn, Im going bigger, just not sure how.
I currently have 235/60/15's they are 26.1" tall 8.4 wide (the actual tread touching the road)
I have two choices, ether the much larger contact with the road, and same height:
275/50/15 26.1" tall 10.5 wide
or the little bit wider, but a tiny bit taller, which will give a a good final drive gear ratio for the track
255/60/15 27.1" tall 9.0 wide
thoughts?

Note, with the taller bigger tire you must roll the inner fender and beat the inner well to fit and most important, springs! If you have an anti roll bar you are golden.

I had the same issues and went to a taller tire, these when heated up stick pretty good actually really good. I just put a set of Billets and Hoosier 17 DOT for this coming season, should be interesting.

doing the math, I will be at 5900rpm crossing the 1/4 mile. My issue has been using the stock tach, what I thought was 6,000 rpm, was probably more like 5200 by the looks of this gear ratio calculator im using.
now I need to buy a aftermarket tach!
thanks guys, I think ill go with the 275/50/15
