mac headers h pipe

Question mac headers h pipe

ok was looking on craigslist the other day and found something i like i have been looking for some exhaust parts and this guy is selling a set a mac shorty headers and a mac h pipe for a $100 he said the headers were a little rusty but i have access to a sand blaster and he said the h pipe was in good condition what do you guys think good deal or not

mac headers always rust. still, $100 aint bad

grab em, blast em, and spray them with high temp ceramic paint

my macs are pretty rusted up too.gonna blast them when i pull my motor out

Jump on it pretty good price, and as you said just sand blast the headers.

Its a good deal. Adders right Mac do rust up. Mine just like everyone elses have rust too.

yeah i called him last weekend and i calling him today and hopefully going to pick them up this weekend cant wait all i need is a cat back for it now

I've got a MAC cat back and except for the flanges which aren't stainless... mine are still looking brand new after 2 1/2 years. And they have seen rain, before I did the 5 lug/brakes/rest of the shizzle.

long tubes or leave it stock.

unless 2 hp is worth 3 hours of labor. but to me it's not

well bought the headers and h pipe they were actually in good shape and to respond to nitrous bob i get were u are coming from but i dont have alot of money still in high school and im looking to get a good sound out of my mustang without spending alot of money not to metion the car has alot of miles on it so im not looking to gain alot of power but if i had the money i would get long tubes but cant afford them

Yeah my MACs still look good except for the flange and collector because like tony said that part isnt ss
