I have a 68 mustang with an 89 302 carburetor engine (i.e. no longer fuel injected). I just purchased the car and that is the way the guy had it. I am doing a tune up and was going to put a new msd coil blaster on it. It currently has one like item number 8203 01 on mustangs unlimited, but factory looking. That is the one I would like to put on the car and was wondering if it was ok or if I have to have the one with TFI. I am trying to learn as much as I can about cars so I can do it myself. Also, was wondering what that resistor that comes with it does and if I need it how to I install it.
