Default engine bay done :)

Been a while since i have really been on the forums, decided now was the best time as ever to stop in, say hi and update on my progress.
Just got done (about 2-3 hours ago) with spraying the final coat of clear in the engine bay, there are a few imperfections but over all i am VERY pleased.
Took a lot of work, creativity and time to get it this far! and i highly recomend it as it looks clean as hell
my welder budy is taking his sweet a$$ time in getting the cage done but its kinda getting there

as you can see it was pretty rough when started

designed and fabbed up these angle pieces to clean up the bay awsome!!!!

me doing somehitng with a grinder.... didnt know my dad was taking a pic either

fun little pics

we used a multitude of fillers, and body puddy to make it as smooth as possible but as always there are imperfections.

Looks good! I am still still contemplating on what to do with the aprons on mine. I just might have to do what you did right behind the headlights. OO well, I will eventually pull the motor back out to clean the whole bay out so I have time.

Keep it up!!

I just did mine over the winter, only I didn't fab up the plates like you did. Don't worry about any little imperfections, you will never notice them when the engine is in there. Looks like you did a great job.
