my 87 gt stalls sometimes now?
I have a 87 gt mustang. Its a 5-speed stock. Ive instaled 4.10 gears, underdrive pulleys, smog pump delete, bb@k coldair intake and 70mm throttle body and egr spacer. My car has no maf sensor. I've noticed since the cold air intake setup if im driving down the road and have to stop and clutch it the RPMs drop really low and soutimes kill the motor! This has only happened since the coldair intake upgrade! Please help me solve my problems men. THANX!
will it idle if you unplug the IAC ?
if it will NOT... my bet is vac leaks. that stuff gets old and you can have multiple small leaks that will add up to drivability issues
unplug the battery for about 15 mins to reset the computer and try it, cuz the computer will adjust for those vac leaks and eventually it will run with out stalling... but with poor performance
