Default Project update (engine is actually in this time)

Well to my dismay, after hours of work trying different ways of shimming and such i have come to the conclusion that the Kooks Custom headers (which i was told would fit) arnt going to fit
and they just look so darn good on the engine!

They hit on the passenger side right by the rear mounting spot for the k member

Then i started making templates out of card board for 1/4" ply i am going to used to finish off the back area of the car

didnt have time to get wood, so i moved on to trying to fit the dash back in...... Wolf told me that the dash bar allows for the installation and removal of heating and air...... WRONG, the dash bar comes in contact with EVERY SINGLE AIR/HEATING TUBE IN THE BACK OF THE FREAKEN DASH!

needless to say, i was not happy by this point
so i decided to move on to painting the battery box. Due to transporing my snowboard, the box got scratched up pretty bad so i decided to give it a painted finish to hide all of the imperfections

I needed a WIN by this point really bad, after all these disapointing failures i was having, so i decided to just go ahead and drop the engine in all the way and bolt it up!

5.0kid, ya my dad and i are gona try and rig something up to get hoses run to the vents. I helped him build a small airplane a while back, and he has some flexible air hoses that will probably work (crossing fingers)

Instead of painting the battery box you should have fitted the Miller case over it. So jealous.
