well the 10 pt is installed and painted..car is at Diamond fabricating for new trans install..new radiator with all an fittings and 13 autometer ultra lite gauges to be installed..may need to rob a bank to restart saving for my engine..lol

Is that a mild steel cage? Looks nice and IMO you are doing it in the right order. I'd rather do the suspension/ cage and wait for a powerplant, than toss an engine in it and tear the interior apart a week later after the tracks won't let you run.

i was told to build the foundation first...it is chrome moly cage.

building the foundation first is the way to go, Then you dont break as many stock parts
