Default 306 shortblock with forged internals for 700?

Ok, so i may need a bottom end soon, lol. So i ran into a guy that has a bottom end. 306 block just honed. With forged pistons, hardened rods, and forged crank. Never was ran just sitting in his garge. He wants $700, is that a good deal? what should i look for? BTW i have a 95 gt.

He also said he has a upper and lower cobra intake from a 93. With 24lb injectors, Calibrated MAF. fuel pressure regulator. fuel rails, throttle body, and cold air intake that he will let all of it go for $400. Let me know know your advice! I may be buying this today or tomrrow so i need to know!

However you can't buy a cast crank kit for $700.00, never mind the block.

If built correctly it's a good deal. But look at his invoice to make sure you're getting what you he says you are.

You also have no reason to even need the 24lb injectors right now either but if you ever swap your heads you will have something use full then.
