Default original 5.0

Hey guys im trying to make a descision about buying a car or not. The car is a red 88 mustang lx converitible 5.0 25yr ann. The car is completly original and is a true dream. It has 34,000 miles. There isn't a single spot of rust on the car and has the original top and paint. It looks fantastic. The only non original pieces are the wheels and tires. It comes with american racing after market, there period correct though. The motor is in great detailed shape has most" if not all" the original hoses and wires. I took the car for a drive and the susspension felt tight and the brakes stopped nice. on a twisty road it felt really nice. For 7000 do you think it is worth it

I would buy it being that original and having that low of mileage but I would make sure it was 34,000 and not 134,000.

sry for posting this in the wrong spot, i was in a rush and didn't read the rules. As for the carfax i had one done and the car came back with no damage, one owner and hasn't been driven more than 3000 miles in the past 10 years

just wondering if there is a place on the forum which may list how many 89 5.0 verts were built. I believe there is a service which Ford Motor company provides for free and its called a 9?? sheet which gives you some info on a car. Anyone know what that info consists of?

Finally, since this car is exceptional my thought is to drive it and enter it in concourse types of shows. The original mustangs have such classes but does MCA do that for the 5 liters.

yup cash talks.... a knot of hundies will def sway the seller. but i say it is worth it.

unmolested 5.0's are getting awfully slim, unmolested and low miles in great condition even harder
