When I go to take off, my 88' mustang has a little hesitation then I here a pop. Sounds like the pop is coming from the intake.Could it be my throttle body gaskets,I noticed little residue around the tb. Can anyone help? PLEASE........

 

take some TB cleaner and clean it. Also, if your TB is dirty (depending if your car has a MAF or not) clean the maf with MAF cleaner

 

pull codes, make sure all your sensors are clean sounds like a dirty maf
