^VINSs aren't stamped on the dash, they are riveted on a piece of metal that is placed just below the windshield.

Wow. I'm very surprised that the dash looks so at home in the fox. O.O

Thanks for the answer I have never had the priviledge of removing a dash on any vehicle yet

Dang dude that looks awesome! Sounds like a ton of work, but that is for sure the 1 and only 05+ dash project I've personally seen in a foxbody. Looks great.

As for uploading pictures, i just use imageshack.us

Upload it from there and copy and paste the code that says forumcode1 or something along those lines.

Thanks all! Hope all of ya had a great Thanksgiving.

More pic's coming soon. I finished the brackets for the dash frame and welded them on this last weekend. Just gave the frame a fresh coat of paint tonight. Now getting ready to set it up to bolt into the vehicle.

Anyone have any thoughts on instrument gauges? I need to get a 5 inch mechanical Speedo, and 5 inch mechanical Tach. Do they make any 1 1/2 or 1 inch Fuel, water temp, volt, and oil gauges? I've been eyeing some Auto Meter Sport Comp Gauges that are basic black and chrome. The only draw back thus far is the oil, temp, volt, fuel gauges are bigger then what I am looking for.

S/F,
John

try these guys they may be able to convert the s197 gauges into mechanical. saw an article in hotrod about them they do amazing work.

will prolly cost you a few bucks but having factory appearing gauges in this setup would be sweet

i actually had no idea what to expect when i first opened this thread, but to be honest, i think it looks far better than the old SN swap into the fox IMHO.

ive always been a fan of the 3 spoke wheels in the S197's, kinda want to do that to my SN...
