I have stock seats in my 90 gt that are in great condition, except for the driver seat mounting bracket. They've been welded once already. Are there any aftermarket brackets a vailable for the stock seat or is the junkyard the only alternative?

i think performance parts inc sells a brace for the seat where it bolts to the floor. the brace was used in the cop cars (ssp)

Ill check that out. thanks for the info. its hard to believe that with everything else that is available that someone does nt sell a replacement seat bracket for a stock seat. maybe one of the prior owners was X-LARGE and my driver side seat brackets are the only ones that are cracking. i keep assuming this was caused by a large driver or could it have been caused by rocket launches?
