i saw this car on the fox wheel thread and i love how the center grille looks, kinda reminds me of the newer mustangs.

this looks to me like a stock LX grille with the center removed, but i am wondering what sort of adhesive you could use to blend/fill the area where the center was used. most body adhesives i know of wont stick to the ABS plastic.

or is this just an aftermarket bumper? thoughts?

 

That does look sick, maybe add a billet insert? However this is done I would like to find out also.

 

unless that is a new bumper, the only way you could do that is to carefully cut it out, and then fiberglass it to fill holes and make everything look good

 

what kind of resin would stick?

i have heard that the regular polyester resin will not work with the ABS plastic, and something different is needed. doing the work is no problem, just curious what sort of resin is needed

 

i honestly have no idea. That would be a body shop question, i just know it is possible to do, just gotta use the correct product
