I put my shifter in the same location,you wont be dissapointed.

ya thats what i figured, seems like all the race cars have their shifters in that location

i use my stock location and then use the ash tray for all my switches like the trans brake and fan and intercooler pump and nitrous armed

i was gonna do the ash tray area but looking at it i decided id stay in the stock area so in case i ever reverted it back to stock i could do it easily

I tried the holcomb plate and the shifter hit the radio.. What a waste of money.

Ya I'm going to switch to the ash tray location. Its actually quite hard to shift my car because my harness' keeps me tucked back in the Recaro pretty tight. It would solve my back hurting everytime I take the car out and about. I'm always stretching to get to the shifter. And ya my car is past the point of no return also...

i hear ya, i remember when the car had a stick in it, whenever i was shifting hard it seemed like i was always leaning forward to grab the stick, it wasnt horrible, but was def not the most comfortable position to be in

it took a lot of time to make it work but mine fits with in a 100th of an inch from the radio lol
