Default e7 head info...

Hey guys,
I have a mostly stock 302, only "mods" are,
bored 30 over
RPM Air Gap intake
bbk shortys
650 holly double pumper
C4 with 3500 stall
Speedpro pistons that came with the cheap rebuild kit i bought to get it running.

Im aware i would have to port them for good flow with a bigger cam because i cant afford the afrs i want but my question is how big of a lift can i fit in stock e7 heads. i would buy pushrods lifters and adjustable rocker arms for what ever cam i get. this is now gonna be a track only car so dont worry about street reliability. thx!

The car will probably be as fast as a diesel Escort.

Seriously. If you are going to swap cams, find one that will really work with your combo. It should run fairly decent with the right cam.

If aluminum heads aren't in the budget, get a set of used gt40 heads, and a cam in the .480 - 500 lift area, and enjoy it. I wouldn't waste my time and effort porting the e7 heads, there are too many other options out there.
