I downloaded the T-5 manual transmission diagram and removal from a website a while ago. I have disconnected everything on the tranny except on thing, on the driver side there is a cable that runs along the tranny and then is connected to a plate that moves, guessing the clutch cable? How do I remove this from the assembly?

 

get a pry bar and slide into bellhousing to depress clutch fork and pop the cable right out, cable is attached on bellhousing on an ear via a clip
