Default Picked up ANOTHER fox. 1991 GT Hatch

Hey everyone. Just thought Id share. I already own an 1989 GT Vert. Saw this car for sale for $2800, talked him down to 2500 and picked it up.

144K Miles

Valve Cover gasket needs a replacement. Leaks a LITTLE bit after driving for an hour or so. You see some smoke and smell it.

65mm Throttle body...with STOCK INTAKE *Dooh* ECU has not been tuned or chipped to accommodate it, runs fine though from what i can tell

MINOR 1/4 panel damage.

GT fog lights missing lenses.

Modified exhaust, re routed to in front of rear wheels ( Which I will be changing) Sound burly as hell though

Interior needs some love. Regular fox body issues. Ash tray door, center console etc, Drivers seat worn.

I had to keep in mind this is a 20yr old car. I got lucky on the 89 vert find with immaculate interior and only 55k original miles on it, so i couldnt compare it, ya know?

I plan on fixing her up a bit, H/C/I. Fun daily. Before the cam though, I want to rebuild the engine. Shes getting up there in miles...dont want to cam her just to have her "blow" me..errr...blow up on me. :P Gonna get some lowering springs and wheels too. Dont know what kind yet. I new paint job might be in order too...to get rid of the two tone.

Heres some pics

Thanks for looking!

And why would it need a tune for A t/b??? I'll answer, it DOESN'T which is why it runs fine without a tune

looks good, keep the two tone, ditch the redneck exhaust post haste

and 144k is not too much, mine literally rolled over 159K last night and its running strong as ever.... im just getting sick of the convertible...

nice pick up.

just like shelty said 144k isn't bad. mine had about 170,000 when it let go, but mine is beat extremely hard non-stop since I got it at 140k

whats your plans for the 'vert?

and shelty your just tired of it. fix the damage to it, and throw a mod or two on it, and you will re-love it all over again.
