Okay I got a bone stock (with gt40 intake and exaust) supercharged 8-10psi with 8* base timing. dial for 6btm is on 1*.


got some 295/50/15 street tires that are getting slick...


1st gears spins , 2nd gear starts spinning at 4k rpm, 3rd gear chirps, and smoke from the tires always rushes in the car if im going up a little hill because it spins even more... But when I have 2 ppl in the back seat it hooks the whole time and no smoke! and i dont smell any rubber. is that normal to smell the rubber when it spins?

Would some simple 295/55/15 Mickey thompson drag radials solve this problem?


And what If I got a cage, full subframe connectors, strut tower brace? What would that do for me?

Those tires are huge and prolly wont fit. Wtf u need a cage for?

Put "Quality" control arms on the back for your weight transfer and drag radials... Call it a day from there!!

also,going to a bigger tire isnt going to fix your problem. You need to setup your suspension.

295/55/15 will fit. Alot of pics /threads about it. I have like 1.5 inches left of clearence with 295/50/15 too. They were rolled VERY good by the last owner.

Yeah if I had more backspacing on my wheel I could use the 315. But ohwell. Good luck. Those tires will give you some trouble unless u have a damn good clutch and some power.
