I have a 71 bronco that the previous owner said had a 84 mustang GT engine. I thought I'd throw this at you guys because I can't decode part of the code. I could use some help...

Okay so I pulled the starter and here is the code:
line 1: "E0AE" (1980, full size, engine dept.)
line 2: "D3C" (No idea...)

underneath line 2 it looks like a slightly larger "15" or "13" but sideways.

Then lower than the "15" or "13" is a small plate with "1H3" (Aug 3rd 1981)

Here's my question: What does line 2: "D3C" stand for?
OR
What is the sideways "15" or "13" looking thing is all about.
