Default injector and upper intake removal

ok guys im putting new injectors into the fox. i understand that i have to remove the upper intake. i have never performed this on a fox before. lol so any tips and advice would be great. was thinking of keeping the throttle body on the intake and remove it as a whole but idk if this is a good idea.

always thanks again for the guidance

for the injector installation, don't forget to put lubricant on the o-rings before you mount them, vasiline should do the job, this is to protect the o-ring and help ease the install. gasket is good enough for your intake, dnt need to use RTV seal. you can keep the TB on the intake as well. check your Haynes manual for the torque spec, or just dnt over tight it.

i believe it's in the range of 12-18 ft/lbs for upper to lower. but could be as low as 8 ???

i'll check my notes and see what i find, anti-seize is ALWAYS good on aluminum stuff

no dry gasket between the 2. you'll just make it hard to remove later. and i never got into my stuff.... tied up on a t5 from he!!, broke a collector bolt, crossmember bolt, fought a rotted crossmember.... i dont even remember what else. if it coulda gone south it did.

but hey LETS GO RED WINGS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!

no higher than 22lbs on the intake, otherwise itll distort the seal on the heads.

i did 18lbs on mine and it worked fine.

and i had my upper off idk how many times and my gasket was fine and never leaked.
