iam buying a e303 cam is that good cam for my setup. 1985 mustang 5.0 4 barrel holley carburetor edlebrock intake bbk headers flowmaster turndowns. and going to put a t5 in and take out my c4. is it hard to change out tranny car was originally a 5 spd
If you have stock heads and those mods you dont need to stress too much on the cam if its cheap get it lol!
like 50$ cheap not 200 from summit! If your option is the 200$ cam get a tfs stage 1.
If you have stock heads they only flow upto .500 unless worked but not really worth the time! and yes if you get the proper springs, and when you upgrade heads stay moderate unless you are gonna upgrade the cam again. If you get a head that flows around .550 then you could opt for a 1.7 rocker ratio unless you just want to use a different cam! the rockers would put you to a .530/.541 from the .499/.510 with the 1.6`s.
