Default 347 Would you Rather?

Okay i have been debating on ways to upgrade my 347 Stroker, and have posted a couple threads about it.. My goal is to keep my 347 Stroker at a max rpm range of 6500. Longetivity on the block is the overall goal on this. So my Current Set-up is this (I already know im gonna catch Flak about it)... I have e303 Cam, GT40-P Heads(highly ported/Polished) and GT40 intake port matched to the heads. 24# injectors and 3.73 rearend.
Now i have an opportunity to buy a Novi 1000 kit complete with 42# injectors for about 1600 dollars...Or AFR 205 with a SuperVictor Intake for about 1900 dollars.

I do want to stay in the 6500 rpm range, so what would u imagine is my ideal setup? Im still aiming for at least 11's in the 1/4 mile...

Maybe i should hold out till i find the setup im looking for? If so, what would that setup be?

How many reocurring post on these same garbage setups are we going to have?
Use your current setup with the highly ported p`s and setout for some 13`s!

Use what you have on a 302 and get the Novi kit and have some fun! That would be much more practical!

e-303 and gt-40 p heads/ gt-40 intake ain't gonna do it/achieve your goal of 11's, that is the finest 302 parts combo on a stroker I've seen yet.....as far as the super victor??? if it's an efi set up.....afr 205's and a victor efi and a custom cam and tune would be a decent route to get 11's n/a.......if that is the route you choose, buy the heads from they guy such as ED CURTIS @ www.flowtechinduction.com , REASON BEING IS THE HEADS WILL COME SET UP WITH THE PROPER VALVETRAIN HARDWARE making you only having to purchase the stuff once, where as buying heads from anywhere else = junk the stock springs right away and buy matching valvetrain for the cam you get......as far as a NOVI + STROKER ON A STOCK BLOCK.....pending boost level....I wouldn't do it....why?? = easy to reach the stock block limits and split the block.....novi on a 302 set up = okay.....save the stroker and boost for an aftermarket block......I run low 11's on my stroker with afr 185's, custom cam, ported air gap intake with 750 hp/dp carb.

Another 347 with 302 parts.
You'll have to spend some money to get into the 11's no mater what.
You need heads/cam/intake.....

Im willing to spend money.. Just trying to find the most effective and efficient way to go about it. All the setups i see arent built for the low end, but thats where i want to live.. So 302 parts seem to keep me there, and maybe the novi would make up for the fact that im choking my block?

I have a 347 that lives under 6500, has plenty of low end as well.

MK2 you did give me very good advice on how to build my 347, however the builds u recommended were high in the rpm range. MJR your build is the route i think im going. I was just curious of what other combinations r out there. Only doing this once, so id like to get the most information as possible.

How so? I never once recommended a TLSR build... FWIW, even if you did an exact copy of my build, you would be shifting at 6400.... which is under the RPM range you have requested.
