would the 306 long block be a good swap or what? has anyone heard of creb engineering, ive heard good feedback from them has anyone dealt with them personally?

 

306 is a 302 that is bored .030.... nothing more

You wont see any kind of performance increase

 

yea i know what a 306 is, just wanted some input from people that has done the swap,and as for the increase in performance i stand to gain alot more than the 200hp that my 200,000 mile engine currently has. ford racing has a 306 thats rated at 340hp/350ftlb/tq, and this company called creb engineering builds race engines rates theirs at 440hp. thats why i wanted to know anyone has dealt with them or not

 

its not a "swap" its installing a re manufactured engine.

And I could build you a turd rated at 600hp... Doesn't mean you are going to make that much though. Stick around, read, and learn... as it seems you have much to educate yourself on.

 

it not a swap? im swaping my engine for that one. i dont speak the kings english but swap means this for that you know "quid pro quo" but what do i know theres is alot for me to get educated on

post a link to the engine, i want to see what the idiots are claiming they do makes 440 out of a 306...

itd better have serious compressing, ported heads and some ungodly cam and be built on a 4 bolt main...

no offense adder is right, you have got to be joking??????? tfs 1 cam, rebuilt 302 bottom end and tfw tw 170 cc head and lets say the intake is an efi holley systemax 2 = top notch one, add the right injectors and maf and you have a recipe at best for 280-320 rwhp with a tune added in............that combo is a classic one, been done hundreds of times, and the results are always the same........no where even close to 440 rwhp nor fwhp.....however if you wanna buy into their hype.......good luck.

 

im not going to bat for them or anything i just wanted someone to check it out and tell me what they think, 280-320 is more than what im working with now. thanks for the help
