Default do i need a diff girdle

i just re did all my rear end with 4.10's hardened axles, spherical bushings, upr control arms. i had the axel sandblasted and painted and had them weld the tubes in as well. i have an auto with stock stall but am spinning the tires pretty easy now especially with the n20 on. i am going the strip in three weeks and am wondering if a girdle would be a good idea. i am looking at the scott drake or tfs or ta girdles. i did dyno at 312 rwhp (mustang dyno) but had a flow issue so i should have 60 more hp with the n20 shot so i'm guessing on regular dyno i should be close to 400 whp. allso don't use a fluid 90 on n20 that's were i lost my flow.

I don't think a rear axle girdle is bad idea at all. Remember, you'll get what you pay for so shop with that in mind.....

i looked and most seem to be around the same price except the upr which is double so basicaly i'm shopping around by looks unless i'm told otherwise. but do you think i need it?? i'll do one trip to the strip this year as i'm about 600 miles from the nearest strip and we have long winters so i would like to put it off till this winter when i do my k member. even if thier is the slightest chance i could prevent a failure i'll get one. the suspension or front end is the last place i want a failure, let alone dumping any oil at the start line!!!

Ive got a mac one on my car. Dont know if it helps it or not but I mainly did it for the fill and drain holes. Plus they look cool. I dont drag race my car just beat the crap out of it on the street.

they are a good idea if you got spare money to spend, but with that power a proper built rear end i dont think you'll have to worry about blowing it out unless your 60' ing in the 1.5's or better
