I sure do love mah foxbodies. I've had 10 of em. Great for what they were, but they're old school tech nowadays. In 2000 all of the crash safety rating changed and made cars A LOT safer. Granted if you wreck at 150, it kinda doesn't matter what you're in.

If you're gonna go from the ground up on a fox, safety minded, then by all means. I still miss my '85.

^ uh yeah, that's a given, but keep in mind a lot of older cars still have good safety ratings. My 91 ranger passed front end collision with 4 stars, but no data for side impacts. You also have a lot of computer stuff now which is nice to tune, but any other work tends to become very complexed.
