Torque converter ???'s
I am pulling the AOD on my 93 stang gt and was debating on which torque converter to get. Leaning towards B&M. So my question is,does the B&M converter use the stock bolt size to the flex plate, or will it need to be drilled? Looking at the 3,000 stall holeshot.

well i dont think anyone would want you to drill your flexplate since the are balanced with weights..., It should be a direct bolt-on if its made for an aod!!
Advice..., get a 3k rpms stall or bigger, transgo shift kit.., oh and also pick up the biggest rv tranny cooler at your local a.p. store and run direct to tranny not thru radiator!!

Thanks! I just reading some things online and found some people that had to modify the flexplate and even the input shaft. I don't really wanna do all that so figured I would just ask around, thanks for the response!

edit: I haven't been using a separate trans cooler either, but my radiator is a 3-core all aluminum rad. Probably helps a lot.

I worked for a performance warehouse and Hurst and B&M are the same company now,and TCI is owned by comp cams now. I seen more tci come back than B&M in the defects department. Hughes are great, just to expensive. Anyone else have any bad experience with B&M?
