Default fuel pressure question

im installing a bbk adjustable fuel pressure regulator in a few days...i know the stock pressure is 39, is the 39 with the vacum line on or off? And also was wondering is there any power gains by bumping up the fuel pressure?

well there are power gains if your starving for fuel, thats it.

39 doesnt sound like a good number, 36 with vac on, and 42 with vac off what ive always gone by

but i dont mess too much with FP

what kind of mods are you dealing with ?

Vac line off, no there is no performance gain by raising your fuel pressure. the car's computer is smarter than you and will just adjust the fuel trims to compensate

You should've saved your money mate. Only reason I have one is because I scored an aeromotive unit in a junkyard.;D

you can tweak a few ponies by lowering...but your walking a fence thats not very forgiving.

good score...you'll use it later

id do 42 psi with vac off and dyno tune it when all your mods are done. better to be phat than run lean
