Odd. I didn't think it was possible to get the dash out without dropping the column.

I did drop it but only about 6 inchs

Well when you are working with a vert it makes removing the dash just a little easier lol

I did two heater cores in my 88, yah they SUCK to do! I replaced to original and a week or two one of the tubes going through the firewall broke out of the core, so out came the dash again. I remember bolts and screws that seemed to go to nothing but had to come out for the dash to move. I had a hand full of screws left over lol, the dash was tight though.

Hey I was like 19 at the time and the dash was tight and secure so, I didn't care. I think after they built the cars they just randomly added extra screws under the dash

That's why I had a loud stereo in the car Like I said I was 19 at the time, I didn't care.

lol i managed to get all the screws back in all except one that i couldnt figure out where the damn thing went!
