I went with 35 spline strange axles and 5/8 studs for the rear with the 9" bearing ends.
New strange spool and last but not least Strange rear slotted lite weight brakes
Sort of surprised that you are using an 8,8 rear-end considering the power level that I think your new engine will be at........
its kind of right on the edge it should handle it ok for now, but in a year or two when i throw the coal to this thing with a turbo ill be going to a 9" right now it was a money thing, 1500 to build the 8.8 with good parts or 4000 for a average 9"
