Default Which injectors

just ordered the vortech s-trim kit. With whats currently in my sig plus the supercharger which injectors should i be running? i have a set of 30lbs in there right now, max power on the dyno were at 65%duty. Also have AL 3924 plugs, are these still going to be optimal, understand i will have to gap them a little smaller. thanks

It is most likly that youll need to go to a larger set of injectors as supercharged engines require a larger injector at a lower HP than that of a naturaly aspirated engine. I came across this web site a while ago that has a good formula for calculation of injector size.

When I has a v1 vortech on my 01 GT with a 4.6 I was making 375 to the wheels with cams and 42lb injectors. That was at only 7 or 8 psi. Tuner said the injectors were almost maxed. So I would play it safe and get bigger than 42. Sure beats pulling the manifold again to get the rails off. Also just a tip when installing the new injectors, I had a HELL of a time getting them in niceley just putting my stock ones back in my 5.0 with new o rings. I found vasolene(sp?) made it WORLDS easier! Even motor oil was a PITA for some reason.

guestimated around 650 at the crank on a STOCK BLOCK AND INTERNALS WOOOT. figured 3205lbs race weight and it would run 10.47 at 130 almost every time
