what are some cheap performance engine parts? i bought gt40 intake and underdrive pulleys, MSD dist, BBK CAI. what cam and heads are on the budget side but still better then oem?

it had good driveability, decent idle, and it added a little more low end grunt.

As far as heads, spend some money. Thats a place you def get what you pay for. Anything around 185cc would be more than enough for a street 5.0.

 

For a budget build how about GT40 heads and a e303 cam? You can get those heads for real cheap if you watch craigslist, etc long enough and that should get you a nice bump in power over your current set up.

 

Whats your budget? If you buy used you might be able to find a set of trick flow or AFR heads on the forums, ebay, craigslist etc. For the cam I'd go with a trick flow stage 1 cam. It's a little more agressive than the Ecam and it's only about $20 bucks more on late models web sight.

 

IMHO, the words Cheap and performance should never be used togather.
You'll get just what you pay for and nothing more........
