Default build recomendations and questions

Alright so i got a budget of about 3k give or take for the motor, half of that in the heads, im thinking either afr 165 or trickflow 170. AFR is a little bit more expensive but not much, and the trickflow have the 2.02 valves which are a decent size bigger than the afrs 1.9. i really wanted the e303 cam, but im afraid of v-p clerance. so then i was thinking about just the stage one trick flow cam. i also want to redo the exhaust, which is no problem, and im thinking about putting another intake on, i already have the cobra intake. is there a big power gain to spend the extra money? I also have a stock bttom end. Basically all i want to do is build a n/a 5.0 pushin around 350 or so to the wheeels give or take, is it possible?

This would be on a stock 302? I could see getting 350ish at the flywheel. Is this a dd or track car?

I would look into upgrading to an aftermarket intake. I have a buddy that had a 306, close enough to a 302, his put down 340rwhp, but it was sluggish down low until he put 4.10's in it. He had edelbrock 205cc victor jr heads and the trickflow r intake, and the trickflow stage 2 cam.

Have you already done a larger MAF, throttle body, injectors, fuel pump, and headers?

The 'E' cam is very outdated, find most anything and it'll be better. Sounds pretty tight on the money part of that project to me, I'd try and find some used heads.
There are also tools that can notch the pistons while everything is still in the car so you can run more lift. thats always something to think about too.......

So would the trickflow stage one cam be any better? from what i understand it seems like cheaper cam and i could be wrong. and thats like the only aftermarket cam that i no will work with those heads and not worry about the p-v

I already have a cobra intake, i was thinking about porting that to help match the cfm to the heads.
