Default A trip down memory lane...

So... The 5.0 section seems VERY slow compared to past days, so I thought I would offer up a slight bit of my previous glory... Some pics of my car and the final result of some of the stuff I've done! (That latest effort being somewhere in late 2008.. )

General exterior of the car...

Powder coated accessory drive and 3G alt swap...

Customized Mark 8 E-fan and Fluidyne radiator...

Tilt wheel into air-bag swap...

Painted under-carriage...

Maybe this will help motivate some others to post up pics of their rides or go out and do something else cool!!!

Push rod 5.0s represent!!!

N2O Bob, Stang #4 wins!!! Only because I am a massive sucker for burnouts!!!! Light 'em until the cords are sparking!!!

Thank your son for serving our country and protecting our freedom on my behalf, and thank your daughter for supporting our 2nd amendment rights. Both of those breeds are few and far between these days!!!

That said.. LET'S SEE THOSE SEXY FOX 5.0s!!!!

HA!

The backhoe burnout is the most impressive to me! I'm not even sure how you accomplished that!

I worked at Home Depot when I was in college... For absolutely no good reason the "load-n-go" rental truck was a 3/4 ton Ford with the V10... I smoked up about a square 1/2 mile when they asked me to go put gas in it one day! Me and my buddy Ramon were responsible for a 12,000 mile truck needing new rear skins!

That looks A LOT like an olf school International medium duty.... I have personally driven, as an employee and powertrain engineer, a V8 IH MD around the test track and gave it all sorts of hell (EASILY doubed the speed limit of the 40mph track), power shifting and all that!!!

I only wish I was man enough to rev it to 2400 and dump the clutch like that must have taken (or fool enough to risk my job... take your pick!)! If it was a Freightshaker I'm surprised you even got it off the lot!

freightliner fo sho..... it started as an accident

see the backhoe behind it ? same backhoe that did the burnout. anyways, i was digging in a narrow spot, cutting through asphalt and granite. had to load from behind, the kid driving the truck was a noob, i loaded him heavy in the rear, waved him off to go dump and he got scared as he rolled backwards...popped the clutch and lifted a tire. he stalled it.
but thats all she wrote, we broke out the camera after that....by the time we were done...the seals were blown out of the lift rams....it spewed oil on every dump

hey....i "drove it like a rental"
