I have a 88 notch 5.0 its equipped with stock bottom. End 498/512 can. Svo heads(64 CC 240cfm ) weiland intake,650 Carb and a 150 shot of gas can anyone. Tell. Me about what HP this will make and any ideal what it will run n d 8th mile thanks in advance.

 

Nope sorry nobody can tell you that stuff, you need to have it at the dyno, then the track. There is no guessing to how much hp or estimated times.

 

I respect that but I thought maybe someone had a similar set up being that its a simple build

The 5.0 aftermarket universe is a vast place man. There are more parts combinations than there are toppings at Baskin robins ice cream.

The chance of finding someone with exactly the same set up would be like hitting the lottery twice in your lifetime. And even then each engine responds differently to mods.

And even a similar set up would be impossible to estimate your hp based on they're setup.

But I will take a stab at a guess in the chance you do get it to a dyno and It would be interesting how close I was (and this is purely for fun )

N/A with no juice 275 with the 150 shot ( if that's what your hitting it with ) 350 with a 1/8 mile of 7.9 ( again purely for entertainment purposes only ) lol
