does anyone have any suggestions for a cam, head and intake combo for my 331 stroker im looking for around 450/500 hp but i plan on running a turbo later down the road and will my factory transmission hold up to that kind of power

 

Have you tried the" search" feature here, just search this forum for "331" or "347" or "stroker", you'll be reading for days on what guys used and the power it made. These kind of questions get old for the regulars here. Good luck and any specific questions feel free to start another thread.

And yes your stock tranny will be fine…………… for alittle while. If your easy on the shifting and run street tires on the street, you can make it last. At that power something is going to break eventually.

Just buy a B cam and turn up the boost. Is this a stock block??

 

yea its an extra block i bought to build

 

Cap walk is going to be the death of it at those power levels. You will need a very good tune and not rev it to the moon. It will be on borrowed time

 

Why mess with a 331 when a 347 is basically the same price?
Good luck with a stroker/turbo combo on that stock block......
