I want to do this for 2 reasons,
1- what you said
2- since it's a slim fan it will make room infront of the engine so I wont' have to take everything down every time I want to put my hands there
well 3- use my new 130 amp alt I put it there for a reason

Since you live in Quebec, probably won't be an issue, but the dual 12" fans that I just installed don't move nearly enough air with the A/C on, but at least with the one you linked to, there isn't a shroud to reduce air-flow when you're moving, so you might be okay
Also, depending on how many amps it draws, your stock alternator might not hold up at idle.
There's a lot of speculation[1] that the stock fan pulls about 2500-3000CFM, so if you assume even 1500CFM for the stock fan, you're going to be losing air with the MishiMoto.
I'm personally thinking about going with dual 12" Derale Performance fans[2], supposedly rated at 4,000CFM and only drawing 18amps
