If this is posted in the wrong area , please move to correct area.

93 mustang lx , automatic , 5.0. has a loose approx. 3' cable hanging down from the steering column.
Both ends are loose.

I have searched , looked , cannot find what it goes to or what it is for.

If you could post up a picture, that might help us.

And by cable, I'm assuming you mean a wire ???
