When you push the button to your seat setting it moves the mirrors to match that setting. The only reason they would move is if they were not adjusted to the seat setting that you asked for.

Otherwise they never move for me when I drive my wife's Lincoln. It adjusts to my setting when I get in rather than hers. If I stop somewhere it doesn't adjust again.

The mirrors were moved to the last setting and have to adjust to your setting when you hit the button. So there is a reason for the movement.

No, the mirror positions are not changed from the last time I drove it. They just move *****-nilly. You are right, they shouldn't move at all, unless theyve been readjusted to another position, but that's not what's happening.

I had a weird mirror issue in my 2020 GT. I think the dealer did some type of re-programing. It has not happened again

My local dealer had no idea. Told me new mirrors are like 2500. Can you link me up with your dealer? Maybe theres a report on this issue.

My 2016 GT Premium does the same - I just press the button again.
