Default Shifter recommendations please...

So I've had my 2011 GT for a week now and I LOVE everything about this car except the shifter. I don't know how to describe it but the shifter just feels "mushy". The stock shifter in my '98 V6 felt more solid than this one does.

What I'm looking for is a shifter that just feels more solid when going through the gears. I'm not a racer and am not overly concerned with how long or short the throw is. I just want something that feels more solid and doesn't leave a doubt about what gear you're shifting into.

Any recommendations? Thanks in advance...

I don't think there are any out yet. I think the aftermarket makers have been concentrating on the parts which make performance improvements ie: CAI, Tunes, headers. Give it time I'm sure someone will be offering one soon.

I would wait for MGW to come out with one. I have one in my 2004 GT and love the quality!
