It's a lot louder.
Especially on initial start-up and any time you get on the throttle. Very quiet once the rpm settles down after start and when cruising in 6th gear at 2000 rpm ( 65mph, 3.55 rear).
Coast by any cop cars if you don't wish to draw attention. On the other hand, I do not notice any drone at cruise. Love 'em and I'm an old geezer. Cheap too.

I suppose any legality issues may be locality/area dependant.

Cheers.

Ive heard alot of good things about the Roush exhaust personally I would go with them over the Hushpowers because of the quality and construction of the Roush products over the years!

They are louder... Sound great! They are 50 state legal. That's how Roush does things.

I installed the Roush on my car today. It's like driving a totally different
car. Loud when you want and quiet when the cops are around, it's all in the gas pedal.
Roush get's an A+ for fit , finish and sound.
If you own the 2011 gt. do yourself a favor and upgrade the exhaust
you will not be sorry.

The Roush axleback is one of the first mods I'll be making. Glad to hear the good reviews. And I found it for $350, so that will make my wallet happy too
