For those of you that want the stick GT's, but dont like what your hearing about the MT82 (I would be hesitant to get that trans... but thats just me) You could in the future have a TR-6060 6 spd installed. They have bellhousings for the 4.6 available right now, but Im sure its simply a matter of time before you see belhousings for the 5.0 Coyote.

TR-6060 @ D&D Transmissions

Yup, mine SUCKS big time.

Given the chance I would tie this piece of junk trans to William Clay Fords neck and throw them BOTH into Lake Michigan.

With a smile on my face.

How´s it shocking really? Practically 90% of anything that´s bought anymore gets made there, just assembled elsewhere when the companies are concerned about popular opinion.
Taiwan is now second-place for technologically based cheap slave labour.

It´s in some ways quite lame, also inevitable with a global capitalistic system.
Same reason why calling ¨tech support¨ as I understand it for most companies has a striking resemblance to visiting a 7/11 at 2am but the guy uses the name ¨John¨. Or why most clothing is so cheap, should be, as it was actually made in sweat-shops, in many instances by kids. It´s all about how things appear to be, not how they are.

Id just wish that Ford would introduce a sequential shifting option with their 6A transmissions. Lexus has had them in practically every car since about 2006. An IS350 while shifting with the sequential shift is GREAT fun. Imagine that with a 5.0 Mustang?

Dave Perikac (Pericak?), the chief engineer on the Mustang platform, addressed that a while ago in an Autoblog segment. He basically said he was under the impression that it wasn't something mustang owners needed or wanted, and it added weight and complexity, but if it was something people wanted, they would look into it for the future.

Translation: Wait 'til 2014.
